Being honest vs. respecting the customers - May 8, 2007

I have listened but not really understood the Windows activation stories by PC users. It seems that the system is really draconian and makes the user feel that heshe is a suspected criminal. Contrast this with Apple's attitude, where there is no such a system in place.
