Recipezaar: Salsas recipesThe newest Recipezaar recipesin:SalsasEasy Berry Salsa- November 27, 2007 Inspired by more than a few fruit salsa recipes on this site, I wanted to make my own. But I am a lazy cook, so this was my solution. You can use sugar and brown sugar if you want. Great as a dip with ginger snaps, or poured over pancakes. -- posted by lea_petrahttp://www.recipezaar.com/267938 Black Bean Salsa- November 20, 2007 Makes a huge batch, can easily be cut in half. -- posted by Jennifer (Chef 503344)http://www.recipezaar.com/266869 Red Pepper Sauce- November 18, 2007 A wonderful sauce with steak. I've made this several times and wish I could claim it as my own, but no, it is from a magazine. The recipe calls for broiled steak served with red potatoes and green beans. You will truly love it! -- posted by CrankyCookhttp://www.recipezaar.com/266390 Best Damn Guac Ever (Guacamole)- November 17, 2007 I made this recipe because I was tired of bland guacamoles that called for only 3 or 4 ingredients. It's all about the FLAVOR. -- posted by Wine&dinehttp://www.recipezaar.com/266214 Fresh Salsa- November 8, 2007 Quick, delicious salsa. Good with chips, as a Pico de Gallo, even mixed in with Chicken Soups, Chilis, Granny Soups, etc. -- posted by lyssalynnehttp://www.recipezaar.com/264328 Low-Calorie Salsa- November 7, 2007 A nice accompaniment or dip. I have never tasted it because I cannot handle hot salsa, but everyone else that ate it said it is good! -- posted by AZPARZYCHhttp://www.recipezaar.com/263158 Chipotle Salsa - Salsa Del Norte- November 2, 2007 Probably the best chipotle salsa we've ever tasted, and trust me, we've tasted a lot of em!!! Adapted from The Border Cookbook by Cheryl Alters Jamison and Bill Jamison. -- posted by Barb Rhttp://www.recipezaar.com/262983 Salsa Fresca- November 2, 2007 This is a simple and spicy, fresh salsa. Add more chiles, cayenne, or hot sauce if you want it hotter. Salsa fresca will keep about a week in the refrigerator, and the longer it stands, the hotter it gets, (though we've never had ours last a week, so couldn't say...) It is adapted from Diane Phillips, The Ultimate Rotisserie Cookbook (we highly recommend this one!!!). -- posted by Barb Rhttp://www.recipezaar.com/262967 |
