If you serve this at a party, everyone must have some, or some of your guests may be offended! Can use as a sauce for fried calamari or as a spread for crudite, torn pita bread, or crackers. Not for the faint of heart! -- posted by Maureeniehttp://www.recipezaar.com/304110 Sardine Pate As I Like It!- May 16, 2008 This is very simple meal I used to eat during my student time. A loaf of bread, bottle of wine and few knives and we were happy and fed. -- posted by nitkohttp://www.recipezaar.com/303760 "fish & Chips" Appetizer- May 12, 2008 This is a fun and easy take on "Fish & Chips" that is sooo yummy!! My husband and I went to an open house and they served something similar so I went home and whipped up my own creation which I actually think tasted better! I usually use full fat mayo and cream cheese, but you can certainly substitute low fat. I served it cold, but it could also be warmed and be equally as good...enjoy! -- posted by Jill4manhttp://www.recipezaar.com/303272 Herbed Cream Cheese- May 12, 2008 Posting for safe keeping. Haven't tried yet. Got this from Mary at a party. She says she got it from Paula Deen. Cooking time includes chill time. -- posted by Sccuddlershttp://www.recipezaar.com/303081 Layered Asian Appetizer- May 9, 2008 Every time I serve this I'm asked for the recipe. It's fun to serve because not many people have had anything like this before. -- posted by Bobbie 3http://www.recipezaar.com/302964 4th Generation Cheese Ball- May 8, 2008 This cheeseball is the most flavorful I have ever tasted. Don't let the horseradish sauce scare you! Even if you normally are not a fan or it, it makes a big difference and you'll never know it's there. I got this recipe from my Great Grandmother and now my twin daughter's love to help make this! Cook time = chill time. -- posted by Twinstimestwohttp://www.recipezaar.com/302822 Three Cheese Spread- May 6, 2008 I got this recipe many years ago, from a friend, at a barbecue! Don't let the use of Velveeta turn you off! This is a fantastic cheese spread, served with crackers. It makes a large quantity, bu stores well. -- posted by Graymare47 Chef 252632http://www.recipezaar.com/302236 Shrimply Divine Dip- May 6, 2008 This recipe is at least 30 years old and I still get requests to make it! This is one of those recipes where children can help since it is mostly stirring. I have altered the original a tad just to add some extra color appeal. Otherwise, it stands true! -- posted by Chef Kaycehttp://www.recipezaar.com/302141 Quick Easy Mackerel Pate- May 1, 2008 So easy to make for a light lunch or snack. I serve this on toast or crackers, and have even had it on a jacket potato as a main meal. Sardines in tomato sauce also works well. -- posted by samcp4http://www.recipezaar.com/301640 |
