Some like it with Alligator, some with chicken. The main ingredient can even be seafood. But the process is all the same. You must have the trinity (onion, bell pepper, and celery), and you must make a roux. -- posted by Trinketshttp://www.recipezaar.com/310658 Basil and Balsamic Green Bean Salad- June 25, 2008 I got this from our CSA newsletter. Each recipe has notes about the family history of the recipe. This one by Jean Nixon sounds like the one my father used to use. Times are a guess-timate. -- posted by Kat's Momhttp://www.recipezaar.com/309658 Chicken With Pear Sauce- June 12, 2008 One night (before payday) I found my pantry and fridge was more bare that Old Mother Hubbard's. It makes a moist, tasty and filling dinner treat. The recipe comes from Katie Joel's new cookbook. She makes this for Billy Joel and Paula Deen etc and they love it. I can see why. I followed the recipe except I didn't have parchment paper so I sprayed the baking sheet before putting the meatloaf on it. My oven took 10 minutes more to make it perfection but otherwise it was straight from the recipe. Don't skimp on the fresh herbs they make the recipe...http://www.recipezaar.com/307868 To Die for Venison Fajita Meat- June 5, 2008 After trying the 1 rated Venison recipe on here, I had leftovers and came up with this recipe for the BEST fajita meat I have ever had! These are really fudgy brownies with icing. I never add the nuts, because I don't like nuts in my brownies, but if you like them go for it! The original recipe calls for an 11x13 pan, but we alway used a 9x13 pan or I use my deep dish baker from Pampered Chef. You can also do the melting in the microwave, which is what I do for the icing in a big batter bowl. -- posted by Diresuhttp://www.recipezaar.com/306938 |
