Crockpot Beef Marsala - July 15, 2008

A Sandra Lee recipe that was featured in my son's school fundraising food co-op pamphlet. A nice twist using beef cubes instead of chicken. The sauce is a thin sauce; great served over egg noodles, rice or with mashed potatoes. -- posted by TheDancingCook

Mark's Perfectly Perfect Potato Salad - July 15, 2008

This potato salad is the one you have at hotel buffets, upscale country clubs, and other places above the average persons means. The funny thing is, it is just a simple poorman's salad. Enjoy. -- posted by An Italian Jew, but Irish!

Garlic Sausage and Broccoli Linguine - July 14, 2008

I found this recipe in one of those little pamphlets that you can pick up at the supermarket. I made it for dinner last night and it is so tasty! It brings to mind some of the dishes I like to eat when I visit the Chinese buffet, but it is made with Italian sausage and olive oil, ingredients one doesn't find in Chinese cuisine. Garlic sauce can be purchased at any supermarket that has a Chinese food section and comes in three strengths: mild, medium and strong, depending on how much you like.

Caponata from Loni Kuhn's S.f. Cooking Class - July 14, 2008

This is the potluckpicnic dish people demand I make late summer. You don't need to like eggplant to love this! Amazingly, it is served at room temperature, and keeps for 3 weeks in the refrigerator. I have been carrying this recipe with me since 1977 from the May issue of Bon Appetit, and each time I move, the panic doesn't leave until I locate this recipe again! -- posted by KateL

Breakfast Burrito - July 13, 2008

This recipe comes from the Hungry Girl cookbook. It weighs in at 4 points if you use the ingredients as listed. When I make this recipe it is 5 points due to the fiber content of the tortillas I use. It is a delicious, hearty way to break-the-fast. -- posted by Amber of AZ

Voodoo Pasta - July 13, 2008

If you like CajunCreole flavor, this recipe is for you! It is a super easy and delicious, spicy Cajun creamy pasta dish!. We make this at least once a week, it's that good! The recipe is very flexible, try substituting chicken or shrimp for the sausage! Everytime we make this for company, they beg for the recipe! Serve with garlic bread and a salad and you have a great meal! -- posted by ChaseNNJ
