Intoxicated driver dies in LaPorte County crash- February 4, 2008 The LaPorte County coroner says a woman was drunk when she fatally crashed her car Sunday morning. The coroner says 24-year-old Nicole Masterson went off the eastbound lanes of State Road 4. Her car hit a pole, flipped over, and caught fire. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The coroner says Masterson's blood alcohol level was four times the legal limit.
