Have had this in my files for a long time. I think the original recipe called f or Brandy but I prefer to use Apricot brandy. Makes a nice starter course. Very easy - so enjoy. I have also used an orange liqueur. . -- posted by Chef 570804 Halifax Liz

Baked Caprese Ravioli - June 24, 2008

I served one jumbo ravioli as an appetizer, but serving two or three would make a good entree. The ravioli I used were about 2 inches in diameter, but I imagine you could use whatever size you can find. -- posted by Chef Jean

White Bean Dip With Rosemary and Sage - June 24, 2008

Quick and easy! One bowl, no cook recipe. Great served with soft or crispy pita, tortilla chips, crudites, etc. I like to add a little more lemon juice and a bit of cayenne pepper. Garnish with some fresh herbs sprinkled on top if desired. Adapted slightly from a magazine clipping. -- posted by Kelly M.

Simple Aubergine Dip - June 24, 2008

Low fat, tasty and quick! I needed to use up the aubergine from my fridge, so I improvised this recipe. It tasted so good that I di not even used any extra seasoning! Serve it as a dip or spread for sandwiches toasts. Also great on butterfly chicken breast ( or toast ) topped with cheese and grilled. -- posted by ChillA
