We tried this and it was really yummy! I added the 1 more cup of asparagus and you could use Egg Beaters to reduce the cholesterol. I adjusted the seasonings just a bit. -- posted by WI Cheeseheadhttp://www.recipezaar.com/299087 Sheppard's Pie - a Beef and Mashed Potato Casserole- April 17, 2008 In our household we called this Sheppard's Pie, although I'm not sure that this recipe is truly a "Sheppard's pie" as it is made with ground beef. -- posted by HeathersArkhttp://www.recipezaar.com/298984 Broccoli Casserole- April 17, 2008 This came from a local church pamphlet. My brother makes if every Thanksgiving...the family loves it. -- posted by Mrs. Hugheshttp://www.recipezaar.com/298870 Taco Bake- April 16, 2008 I got this from Kraft.com and the family REALLY loves it. This was originally written as a meatless entree, but I have tried this with ground beef and diced chicken and enjoyed both. My boys would be looking at me all crooked if there was no meat at dinner time :) -- posted by SweetJezebelhttp://www.recipezaar.com/298686 Pork Chops Florentine- April 16, 2008 From Favorite Recipes of Our First Ladies, 1971. This was submitted by Mrs. Christopher Bond of Missouri. In reading this, I would add garlic powder to the chops and to the spinach. -- posted by Oolalahttp://www.recipezaar.com/298560 Grandma Esthers Baked Beans- April 15, 2008 These Baked Beans are without a doubt the most flavorful beans I have ever tasted. This recipe came from my wifes grandmother. Be patient with cooking these beans. Do not stop cooking until they turn very dark. When the cooking process is complete, the onions and bacon will have completely dissolved into the sauce. -- posted by Master Deaconhttp://www.recipezaar.com/298505 |
