Our TV's and movies really pound that lesson home. Nothing like a good lesson in comeuppance. Nothing hurtful in that, is there I'm older now and if there is one thing I would do if I could live my life over would be to keep my mouth shut a lot more than I did. It probably would have saved a lot more wear and tear on everybody including myself. brhttp://networking.ittoolbox.com/r/rss.asp?url=http://it.toolbox.com/blogs/irm-blog/bryces-... Comment by Duane on Bryce's Pet Peeve - New York City - 7292008- July 30, 2008 The volume of traffic and the number of streets make it almost impossible for NYC to maintenance their streets on any reasonable basis. I remember reading as I was growing up there that, on the average, NYC streets are repaved every 80 years, as opposed to 10 or 12 for Los Angeles. Also, the prevailing attitude in city hall is that you really should not be driving anyway. I'm not saying I agree, I moved to LA, but thats the way it is, the way its always been, and probably the way it aways willhttp://networking.ittoolbox.com/r/rss.asp?url=http://it.toolbox.com/blogs/irm-blog/bryces-... |
