Making Both Ends Meet - July 31, 2008

In our campus there is a sharp divide in the fate of respective genders. By and large girls are luckier than boys because the huge skew in the ratio of the two. I am happy to discover a bird within the ambit of the campus that has not been enlisted in the campus-bird direcory as of now. Though it enlists beach stone curlew or beach stone plover. I enquired about this to the admins of the site keepers. They said it was extinct by '88-89 in the wilderness read IIT kanpur. So it gives me a kick of pleasure to re discover them in my alma mater. More information is here I.
