This one is cooked on the grill and marinated in sour cream instead of drained yogurt. From Food & Wine May 2008 edition -- posted by JanuaryBridehttp://www.recipezaar.com/306639 Italian Marinated Barbecued Chicken- May 31, 2008 Chicken barbecued using this marinade is d-lish! I needed a marinade for grilled chicken but was totally out of my quick fix marinade--Italian dressing--so I threw this together. The flavor reminds me of mouth-watering, slow-barbecued firehallchurch fundraiser barbecue chicken. I used 12 medium-sized drumsticks (2 per person to serve six), but you could use any chicken pieces you prefer. Please note preparation time does not include marination time. -- posted by MarthaStewartWanabehttp://www.recipezaar.com/306551 Easy Chicken & Cheese Burger Patties (Ground Chicken or Turk- May 31, 2008 These are very easy chicken & cheese burger patties. You can use either ground chicken or turkey meat. These grill up great outdoors on the BBQ or inside on the indoor grill. My husband and I love serving these on a bun coated with BBQ sauce & a handful of "French's" fried onions and we top them with a slice of american cheese too - they are perfect that way. PS: These are super to freeze, I make a fresh batch of either chicken or turkey & always freeze about 6 or so..http://www.recipezaar.com/306506 Cherry Cool Whip Salad (Cherry Dessert Salad)- May 30, 2008 Great little summer dessert concoction. Although it's called salad, it's really dessert. This is a great dessert for summer. Goes great at picnics & BBQ's - I have one of those "salad on ice" bowls from QVC so it stays nice and cool & doesn't get runny. Also, prep. time is about 5 minutes but I didn't include a chill time as it varies. -- posted by BlondieItalianahttp://www.recipezaar.com/306403 Grilled Chicken Pepper Melts- May 30, 2008 Easy and delicious for a weeknight dinner. Melted Monterey Jack cheese and sweet summer peppers give this recipe an extra kick. -- posted by pittgalhttp://www.recipezaar.com/306210 Greek Honey-Lemon Pork Chops- May 30, 2008 The marinade in this recipe not only makes chops sear beautifully but also provides enticing sweet-sour balance. The chops have to marinate at least 4 hours. -- posted by Lainey6605http://www.recipezaar.com/306133 Sherry Grilled Chicken- May 30, 2008 This is a little bit different than your usual BBQgrilled chicken--the sauce is tasty, but optional! Cooking time includes time for marinade. -- posted by Dwynniehttp://www.recipezaar.com/306093 Honey Garlic Pork Chops- May 29, 2008 I found this recipe online at sparkrecipes.com and it was wonderful! You really get to taste the meat with only a touch of the sweet and tangy from the marinade. Plus, it is really quick and easy! I would highly recommend it! -- posted by Tiffany Snapshots of Lifehttp://www.recipezaar.com/306048 Favorite Turkey Burgers- May 29, 2008 Not your usual dry Turkey burgers! These are tasty healthy and easy! Great grilling burgers, my family loves them. I even froze a bunch of them for grilling at a later date. -- posted by MommyMieksCookshttp://www.recipezaar.com/305827 So Much More Than Garlic Butter Grilled Shrimp- May 29, 2008 I came up with this recipe one day when i was just playing around with different ingrediants that i love and some really great giant shrimp. You can use smaller shrimps for this with no problem, just make sure they start out uncooked with the peel on. This is a great, easy recipe, great for impressing your guests, or just for a 2 person hedonistic shrimp feast. Been there, done that! Preparation time includes minimum marinating time. -- posted by mangosteenhttp://www.recipezaar.com/305694 |
