Recipezaar: Christmas recipesThe newest Recipezaar recipesin:ChristmasMoist & Delicious Pumpkin Bread- April 30, 2008 The name says it all, this is a very moist & delicious pumpkin bread... Great for Fall baking, bake sales, Holiday's, gift giving, and just savoring. This bread needs nothing, but a dollup of whipped cream makes it look pretty :-) I happen to have a very large loaf pan & that's what I use, not sure if you need 2 loaf pans or not for this, but I have also made this in a rectangular aluminum pan. -- posted by BlondieItalianahttp://www.recipezaar.com/301438 Baked Stuffed Quahogs or Clams (Rhode Island Style)- April 29, 2008 Quahogs as we call them in RI are actually large clams. These are delicious but take a little time to prepare. You can make these ahead of time, freeze them until you are ready to bake and eat. I'm Italian and this is a favorite for our Christmas Eve fish dinner - but we also enjoy them during the summer! Great when you have overnight guests or for Sunday or Holiday Brunch. In a pinch, you could use canned apple pie filling instead of fresh apple. This is a great breakfast comfort food! -- posted by BlondieItalianahttp://www.recipezaar.com/301055 Turkey Brine- April 28, 2008 A great marinating process that tenderizes the meat of the turkey. It creates a moist, juicy and well-seasoned turkey. No need to cook the brine. -- posted by Aileen3http://www.recipezaar.com/300976 Roast Turkey With Citrus Herb Butter- April 28, 2008 A citrus herb butter adds moisture, flavour and creates a delicious crust. -- posted by Aileen3http://www.recipezaar.com/300973 Espresso Angel Food Cake- April 27, 2008 This is a beautiful angel food cake! It becomes a canvas just waiting to be "painted." It presents as an elegant dessert, sure to please all who try it. It has a wonderful, nutty texture and an intense espresso taste. I love it, and I hope you will also. I have served this with a glaze, sometimes frosted with a very light frosting, sometimes with just a sprinkling of powdered sugar and chocolate curls.
