It got great reviews, but many people had trouble scooping out the flesh and getting the mixture back into the skins, and it really was a time consuming recipe. So I decided to make it into a casserole. Even people that don't like sweet potatoes love this dish! -- posted by Shanlynnhttp://www.recipezaar.com/302307 Judy Murphy's Oatmeal Cookie- May 6, 2008 This is a very different oatmeal cookie. I grew up with these being made often by my mother. She in turn got it from her Aunt Judy. They are wonderful dipping cookies for coffee, tea or milk. They're crunchy on the outside and chewy in the middle. Another bonus is that they're dairy free! -- posted by Intl Teacherhttp://www.recipezaar.com/302259 Cinnamon Raisin Apple Indian Pudding- May 5, 2008 This recipe comes from Better Homes and Gardens. Some friends of mine, however, said that they too have a similar recipe, yet call it Christmas Relish. I like that name better, but it certainly isn't a dish that is just for Christmas time. I think the name must come from all the red and green veggies. I make this alot in winter especially during times that my family is sick. It also freezes well and I often ffreeze it into individual portions so I can warm up 1 bowl at a time if need be.My husband likes to add Tapatio or Valentin hot sauce to his soup after I serve him, I like a little he likes alot so this is optional according to your own taste. -- posted by Nateskawaiihttp://www.recipezaar.com/301874 |
