I first tried it at McGraths Fish House, then duplicated it at home. You can normally find a cedar plank at your local grocery store in the seafood department. -- posted by Houdini's Momhttp://www.recipezaar.com/295412 California Chicken Sandwich (Cooking Light)- March 31, 2008 Here is a sandwich that is good for you and has great flavor especially if you like sweet and savory together. I don't really like the taste of fat free mayo so I use the low fat kind instead. -- posted by Slattshttp://www.recipezaar.com/295352 Profound Black Bean Dip- March 31, 2008 I really don't know how to name recipes, so I used the first adjective that came to mind. I found a similar recipe online and have tweaked it for a few years. Just a simple bean dip to eat with chips. Warm and filling and good. I eat it as a snack or a meal. This makes quite a bit. If you're like me, you want to make as much as you can to get several meals or snacks out of one preparation. If you don't need that much, it's easily halved. It's also very flexible. Toss in peppers or red onions.http://www.recipezaar.com/295294 Tomato, Bacon and Cottage Cheese- March 27, 2008 I came up with this because I wanted a light and healthy alternative for breakfast. I hope you love it as much as we do. -- posted by Brandesshttp://www.recipezaar.com/294781 Slap Yo' Mamma Meatloaf- March 25, 2008 This recipe makes even the biggest meatloaf critic ask for seconds!! I grew up eating this as a kid, and now serve it to my family. As a nice all-in-one meal, you can line the bottom of the loaf pan with quartered medium sized potatoes and place the meatloaf on top. The juices from the meat flavor and tenderize the potatoes as it bakes. -- posted by Banriona Aevalhttp://www.recipezaar.com/294118 Barbecue Salmon Filet- March 24, 2008 This recipe was created by my Grandfather about 30 years ago. It was originally designed to cook 10 0lbs of salmon but i have shortened the recipe to only make 1 lb. It is a recipe with many flavors. The edges of salmon are very sweet in nature. As you work your way further in towards the center of the salmon it becomes a much milder flavor. -- posted by Leferrohttp://www.recipezaar.com/293772 Marieville's Pineapple Flan- March 17, 2008 This unique flan is made with pineapple juice rather than milk or cream. Use the pineapple juice found near the orange juice in supermarket refrigator sections, and begin making the flan a day ahead. -- posted by Marievillehttp://www.recipezaar.com/292312 Pork Chop Sandwich- March 17, 2008 With apologies to the other two folk who posted Pork Chop Sandwich recipes, neither resembled what I think of as a true pork chop sandwich. I grew up in SW Montana, where the locally famous Pork Chop John's sandwich shops exist. I believe the originals are actually battered after flouring and then deep fried and I never pass up a chance to eat one if I am in Butte or Bozeman, but I don't even own a deep fryer, so I fiddled around with what originally was my favorite chicken fried steak recipe.http://www.recipezaar.com/292269 Ohana Honey Lime Salad Dressing- March 15, 2008 The dressing serverd on the salad at Ohana's on Disney. Great dressing, I couldn't stop eating the salad and get to my meal! -- posted by Chef Lindsay Bhttp://www.recipezaar.com/292023 Guava Lime Coolers- March 14, 2008 Found on myrecipes.com to use up some leftover guava juice.
