Recipezaar: Peaches recipesThe newest Recipezaar recipesin:PeachesSouthern (Bourbon) Peach Cobbler- March 31, 2008 The bourbon is optional, but adds a bit of a kick to this southern peach cobbler. I've pieced it together from a few recipes to get the balance I like between fruit and topping. It's great for serving to guests and definitely best with some ice cream. This is also great vegan with water or applejuice replacing the buttermilk, and margerine instead of butter. You could even serve it with tofrutti ice cream. -- posted by MC Bakerhttp://www.recipezaar.com/295437 Peach Melba Summer Pie- March 28, 2008 Peaches are probably my favorite fruit, so I make a lot of pies in the summer with them. This one happens to include my runner-up favorite fruit, raspberries! -- posted by JackieOhNo!http://www.recipezaar.com/295139 Peaches Chicken Cutlets- March 28, 2008 This is an espress and healthy recipe that is made on the barbecue. This makes a pretty juicy dessert. The juice is great spooned over ice cream or just on top of the biscuits. This is not overly sweet. Yum, yum, yum! Please use organic lavender (usually found in Farmer's Markets) to make this. You can also use other fruits like strawberries, raspberries, orange and lemon. For an added touch, place a small sprig on top of jam before sealing. From Topp and Howard's "Small Bath Preserving". -- posted by mary winecoffhttp://www.recipezaar.com/293113 |
