Peach Bread Pudding - May 29, 2008

While searching for a peach recipe I came upon this one that can be made any time of year, using either fresh or frozen peaches. A comforting kind of Southern-style recipe! If using frozen peaches, thaw & sugar them to taste. -- posted by Sydney Mike

Brandied Peach Cake - May 21, 2008

Our friends brought this lovely, scrumptious dessert to dinner over the weekend. It was so good, I had her email me the recipe. She noted in the email that this dessert had one first prize in the state's "best dessert" category a few years back! I can sure see why!! PreparationCooking time does not include soaking peaches overnight in brandy. Be sure to do this the night prior to making the cake. -- posted by Sassy in da South

Peach Cobbler - May 14, 2008

This is the best cobbler I've ever eaten. I can't even try to describe how delicious it is, so I'll just let you make it and see for yourself. It isn't crumbly like a lot of cobblers. The texture is like a cross between custard and cake - it's just so good. -- posted by SilverOpera

Spiced Summer Compote (1 Point) - May 8, 2008

Rhubarb season is still a few weeks away but I am already thinking about the dishes to come. This one, found in a WW cookbook is on the top of my list to try as the components are among my favorites. Though this is listed as breakfast fare, great with yogurt, oatmeal or pancakes, I think it would also make a great dessert as well. -- posted by justcallmetoni
