Caraway Cabbage With Sausage and Potatoes - July 7, 2008

This is so much better when made with cabbage and potatoes straight from the ground. Most people I know use just a couple of tablespoons of spicy or hot sweet mustard, but I just use regular yellow mustard (and more of it) due to personal preference. I also use a lower fat pork & alligator sausage from Winn-Dixie that might not be available everywhere. I'm sure it would work with any kind. -- posted by sanguis

Whiskey Glazed Ham - July 7, 2008

This is a great ham to make for any family dinner! I got this recipe from a Disney cookbook and because my sister is a huge Disney fan, I had a dinner for her forty-fifth birthday and had an all Disney menu. My family loves this ham I really love making it! It turns out such a beautiful color when it's done. -- posted by Aunty Pen

Eggnog is a traditional Christmas drink made with eggs, cream and sugar and sometimes flavored with rum, brandy or whiskey. This recipe uses it as a flavor for the cookies and then decorated with a egg yolk "paint". Makes a fun activity for the kids. -- posted by mommyoffour

White Sangria - July 7, 2008

I found this recipe on FineLiving.com (credited to Tony Abou-Ganim). It looked great and I intend to try it. I decided to post it on Zaar so that I can "cookbook" it, and to add to the Zaar collection. If you try it before I do, let me know what you think. I got interested in Sangria after making Bev's recipe 46365. Try it, you wont be disappointed. -- posted by xDAVEx
