Softball on the rise - May 13, 2004

May 13, 2004 - Softball has developed backwards in the last couple of years and has reached the status it had back in 1987. But a new breed of players from seven different clubs in Switzerland is trying to give Softball in Switzerland new life, writes Sascha Knzler in his article "Softball in Switzerland" that can be found at the Columns section.

Plans for stadium still intact - May 6, 2004

May 6, 2004 - An article in the Tages Anzeiger reaffirmed the city's plans to build a new baseball stadium at the Heerenschrli. The city of Zurich is planning to spend CHF Mio. 335 for bigger stadiums, soccer fields and infrastructures for sports on ice, skateboard and inline skating. Furthermore, baseball will get a new field at the Heerenschrli. The time horizon for all these facilities is six years, with the field at the Heerenschrli being ready by 2007.
