Manny Marchant died in a tragic car accident while on vacation in the Dominican Republic on July 16. He turned 31 on July 10. The Challengers family is mourning the death of a player who was always fun to be around with and who had a big heart. Marchant played with the Challengers from 1998 to 2003 and was part of four Championship teams. He batted .468 with 44 homers and 201 RBI's.
