Roasted Chicken As I Like It! - June 19, 2008

This recipe was shown on Croatian TV in regional cuisine show. Ive added potato because I thought it might be also a nice side dish. Besides, potato will absorb juices from chicken and vegetables. Ive tried it; it is nice, really nice. -- posted by nitko

Classic Chicken Kiev - June 9, 2008

This recipe was printed in Saveur magazine, and is different from others posted here. It has a crispy exterior and a luscious core of well-seasoned dill butter. This recipe needs to be started at least 4 12 hours before serving. Perfect to prepare in advance, and quickly put dinner together when time to eat. To get the maximum flavor, please use fresh dill, lemon juice and bread crumbs. Note: The preparation time includes chilling time - not all is active time. -- posted by PanNan

Bialys - June 7, 2008

A Bialy is a little Polish yeast bread, similar to a bagel without a hole. The indentation in the center is traditionally filed with sauteed onion or garlic, though there's certainly no reason not to experiment. -- posted by EmmyDuckie

This is a wonderful take on the traditional borscht and should gladden any palate. The little mushroom dumplings are fabulous. Time does not include overnight sitting -- posted by MarraMamba
