Cherry Bomb Jello Shots - June 9, 2008

A friend and I were experimenting with cocktails we like to drink as jello shots. We came up with this recipe and served them at our Cinco de Mayo Party. They were a HIT!!! They went down WAY too easy!!! I try to watch my sugar intake, so we used sugar free jello and sugar free red bull! -- posted by Chef 384730

Vangie's Cornbread and Sausage Dressing (Make the Night Before) - June 7, 2008

Almost 20 years ago, a good friend gave me her family recipe for this dressing. It has been a Christmas tradition in my house ever since. (My brother does Thanksgiving dinner and makes his own awesome dressing!) My ex husband loves it so much that to this day I still send a containerful to him when the kids go to visit over the holidays. He says he reheats it and uses it for a meal by itself! -- posted by Texas Aggie Mom

Favourite Fruit Loaf - June 5, 2008

I absolutely love this recipe!! Its so easy and so yummy.I don't make it as much as I used to for the simple reason that I tend to make a little piggy of myself when its in the house, and no-one else gets a look in! Its great for afternoonhigh tea with a little butter spread on it,and the kids love it!! -- posted by Noo

Emerilized Eggs Benedict - June 5, 2008

Recipe courtesy Emeril Lagasse, 2006. Show: Emeril Live, Episode: Gospel Brunch. Use DiBs' recipe 11783 or my recipe 143288 for the recipe for the Essence or Creole Seasoning or Bayou Blast - they all are recipes for the seasoning. We had a trial-run of this dish and it turned out quite expensive - since there were at least 20 of us - the beef fillets were a bit pricey but otherwise the dish is very reasonable. -- posted by DiScharf

Spicy Stewed Sausages With Three Peppers a La Mario Batali - June 5, 2008

This recipe is so good! The heat was a little too excessive for me - however I loved it! ""This is my take on the Little Italy classic," says Batali of the sausage and peppers that's a mainstay of the iconic Manhattan neighborhood and its annual street festival". Stewing the bell peppers in red wine gives them richness; so does a generous garnish of grated pecorino cheese. The stewed sausages and peppers are also delicious tossed with pasta!
