It's very good, but it makes alot of chili (3 gal). I then read all 30 Cincinnati Chili recipes posted on Zaar. I could tell that this recipe is a "30 Minute Meal" "Semi Homemade" version, but it is what it is and my family loved it (even the picky one). I added some additional ingredients and tweaked others here and there; this is what I came up. -- posted by JT'sMomhttp://www.recipezaar.com/297944 Chef Char Char's Chilli- April 11, 2008 As far as I am concerned this is still a work in progress, I have been prefecting this for about 15 to 20 years. I try to do something different everytime I make this, its a work in progress. If it doesn't work out, I'll scratch that and go back to the original recipe. For a short time I had a bunch of friends that paid me to make them a pot of this every Sunday for a whole Football season. Each time they made me make it hotter. They loved it! The recipe for his famous seasoning,Southwast Essense is listed below the ingredients for the chili. It's a great seasoning for just about anything. Just put all of the spices into a small bowl, mix and keep in an airtight container or bag. It makes about half cup. I usually at least triple the recipe for the Essence. -- posted by FLUFFSTERhttp://www.recipezaar.com/297734 Super Easy Chili- April 9, 2008 This is a great recipe to make if you don't have a lot of time or just want to eat a bowl of great chili! -- posted by Rach0617http://www.recipezaar.com/297262 Pennsylvania Cowboy Chili.- April 9, 2008 This is an amalgumation of recipes that I have tried over the years. I took the best of all the recipes I have and came up with this. The BF is not fond of chunks of tomato or onion. I chopped the garlic and onions finely - you are welcome to leave them chunky and use chopped tomatoes if you do not have picky eaters :) This would also do well in the crock pot. Prepare the meat till step 3 and then place the meat and the tomato puree in the crock and heat on low for 6-8 hours. -- posted by Aussie-In-Californiahttp://www.recipezaar.com/297171 Quick and Easy Meatball Chili- April 8, 2008 Kind of a "short-cut" chili. It uses premade frozen meatballs, but you can use your own homemade....it just won't be a squick and easy. ;) This can also be made in a crockpot on low for about 6 hours. -- posted by Parsleyhttp://www.recipezaar.com/297038 3 Bell Pepper Chili- April 7, 2008 This chili is delicious, low fat, quick, healthy, and doesn't require any weird health food store ingredients. I made this one day while feeling under the weather and have been making it ever since. This recipe is not very spicy, so feel free to add more heat if you so desire. This is my favorite chili recipe. It tastes great, hot or cold. -- posted by SaraMonsterhttp://www.recipezaar.com/296754 2 X 2 Chili- April 4, 2008 Super easy chili using 2 of everything.
