Chili Con Macaroni - April 3, 2008

My husband and boys' favourite way to eat chili. We top ours with a dollop of sour cream and parmesan cheese, with toasted bread. From my mother-in-law. -- posted by Jaël P.

Easiest Crock Pot Chili - April 3, 2008

This is the easiest chili I know, and one of the tastiest. This is REAL food. This recipe calls for one teaspoon of chili powder, but I personally use much more; we always err on the side of heat. Same thing with the jalapenos; you can use more, or less, to suit. -- posted by wildheart

Spicy Chicken Chili - April 3, 2008

I got this recipe from my mom, who in turn got it from a friend, who in turn got it from www.foodandwine.com. It is extremely flavorful!! It also freezes very well. You could use boneless, skinless chicken breast in lieu of the thighs and it would be just as wonderful. -- posted by DoubleA's Mom

White Chili - April 2, 2008

This recipe is pretty easy and very delicious, as well as being healthy. It came from Parenting magazine. I like to really taste the chili flavor, so I added quite a bit more chili powder. -- posted by pheebess

I like to use turkey for this recipe so it doesn't have to be drained. However, other ground meats may be used but you'll need to drain away the excess fat. -- posted by Shelton Binkley

Texas BBQ Sweet-Hot Chili - April 2, 2008

This stick-to-your-ribs chili recipe has a sweetness to it that offsets the hot-but-not-too-hot burn that follows. I started with my stepmom's recipe and made it my own. The amounts below are really "guesstimates" which makes it a little different every time! -- posted by KT Scarlet

Chili With Beans - April 1, 2008

This recipe comes from my MIL. It is really the only chili I like. Great for those cold days you need to warm your insides. This is not a spicy chili prepared as written, but you can increase the heat by adding some or all of the cayenne pepper that is included in the seasoning kit. Prep time includes time to quick soak beans. Please note that you will need a package of Carroll Shelby's Original Texas Brand Chili Kit (one kit is enough to make 2 batches of chili).
