Recipezaar: Grains recipesThe newest Recipezaar recipesin:GrainsChipas (Argentinean Cheese Bread)- June 5, 2008 This is a recipe I found on-line at all recipes by Arthropod. Argentinean breads are small balls of cheese bread made from tapioca starch. They are quick and very easy to make. You could even make the dough ahead of time and keep it in the freezer. If you cannot find Argentinean cheeses, Italian cheese will do just fine. -- posted by diner524http://www.recipezaar.com/307678 Cold Yogurt Soup- June 5, 2008 From "An Armenian Evening", Good Food Magazine, October 1986. Prep time does not include chilling time. The author first had these while in Peru. I haven't made these yet so I don't know how many the recipe makes. -- posted by Dreamer in Ontariohttp://www.recipezaar.com/307618 Tamale Bake With Pinto Bean, Green Chilies, Corn & Cheese- June 5, 2008 This is a recipe that can use any cooked beans. I do not use tomatoes but tomato sauce and I use fresh corn off the cob mixed with butter and evaporated milk. You can use canned whole kernal corn, drained and do the same with it. I have refined this over the years. This version is what I use. You can add 12 pound of cooked ground meat if desired. I serve meatless with fresh tomatoes and fresh orange slices. I like this because it tastes like a filled tamale without the work of filling, binding..http://www.recipezaar.com/307516 Grandpa's Cornbread- June 5, 2008 This recipe was my Grandfathers passed on to me.. It is different from the recipes you find on the bags of cornmeal. Bake a cake of this in a 8" round cast iron skillet and make a pot of Pinto Beans and you got a meal! I prefer the recipe with that has buttermilk in it. -- posted by The BLESSED Chefhttp://www.recipezaar.com/307479 Rustic Rye Bread- June 5, 2008 Whilst this loaf isn't as dense as some rye breads, its definitely not as light as normal bread. It goes well with soups, but is equally good for sandwiches! -- posted by Kitzyhttp://www.recipezaar.com/307330 Cheddar Parmesan Grits Casserole- June 3, 2008 This recipe is off a pakage of white lily quick grits, they are different from other grits because the grit is bigger and they are dry milled which leaves more of the corn flavor. But you could use another grits. -- posted by ICook4danny&Puddinhttp://www.recipezaar.com/307056 Stuffed up Chicken Breast- June 3, 2008 This is a recipe my mother used to make when I was a little girl. I loved it because it was a midweek easy recipe that reminded me of Sunday dinner. It's now one of my favorites to cook for my budding family. -- posted by Mrs. Annelyhttp://www.recipezaar.com/307005 Incredible Edible Cheese Biscuits- June 3, 2008 Anybody who knows me, knows that I can't bake to save my life. My gf jokes that whenever I bake biscuits then you know the NHL is short on pucks! So when I came across this little gem of a recipe she had to eat her words, literally, when they came out perfect! I found the recipe in a non-profit cookbook called "A Little Taste Of Home". -- posted by Minxy247http://www.recipezaar.com/306948 Banana All Bran Muffins- June 3, 2008 From Cooks.com -- posted by Dieting Duohttp://www.recipezaar.com/306932 |
