well said demian - i'd say it's best to be open to others' points of view in case you're missing something - but in the end - it's also important to seek (to the greatest degree possible) the objective factstruth. unfortunately much of life depends on environment and context and if you find yourself in a place where politics and agendas dominate then the "facts" are only one part of the equation. as playwright christopher fry wrote The inescapable dramatic situation for us
