This is oober easy and comes out delicious every single time! I love my crockpot and this is one of the recipesreasons why. The idea here is very tender meat, chunks of mushrooms all served over egg noodles. A salad would add color and round out the meal. -- posted by BFit4U

15! Bean Soup! - July 2, 2008

I like bean soups since they're cheap, easy to make, and healthy comfort food. I've never made 15 bean soup before this, but I loved the way this one turned out so I had to post it so I wouldn't forget. It ended up being a combination of things I had around and wantedneeded to get rid of...either way, this is yummy! I didn't add the meat off the bone, but if you like it...feel free! Great for cozying up when it's cold or watching football (or hockey!). -- posted by F-16 momma

Strawberry Sourdough Bread - July 2, 2008

This recipe is posted in several locations on the web; however, they all say "Mix in the oil....". None of the recipes I found said how much oil. So I developed this recipe adding in oil, applesauce and salt. I also thought it would be better with the strawberries coarse chopped. This is a delicious quick bread that can be made when splitting your starter. The bread gets the flavor of the sourdough and has baking soda and salt to help as a rising agent. -- posted by PaulaG

Man Friendly Lasagna - July 2, 2008

This Lasagna is nearly fat free. It is also cholesterol free, and by using whole wheat noodles it is extremely healthy and satisfying. Everyone absolutely loves it. I don't tell them it is a vegan lasagna until they are headed for their 3rd helping.
