Bean Soup!- July 2, 2008 I like bean soups since they're cheap, easy to make, and healthy comfort food. I've never made 15 bean soup before this, but I loved the way this one turned out so I had to post it so I wouldn't forget. It ended up being a combination of things I had around and wantedneeded to get rid of...either way, this is yummy! I didn't add the meat off the bone, but if you like it...feel free! Great for cozying up when it's cold or watching football (or hockey!). -- posted by F-16 mommahttp://www.recipezaar.com/311608 Jamaican Jerk Chicken Drumsticks- July 2, 2008 This is a traditional drumstick crockpot recipe but with a homemade jerk chicken marinade. -- posted by catercowhttp://www.recipezaar.com/311603 Strawberry Sourdough Bread- July 2, 2008 This recipe is posted in several locations on the web; however, they all say "Mix in the oil....". None of the recipes I found said how much oil. So I developed this recipe adding in oil, applesauce and salt. I also thought it would be better with the strawberries coarse chopped. This is a delicious quick bread that can be made when splitting your starter. The bread gets the flavor of the sourdough and has baking soda and salt to help as a rising agent. -- posted by PaulaGhttp://www.recipezaar.com/311600 Vegetarian Tagine- July 2, 2008 A nice, subtly-spiced intro to Moroccan flavors, with no meat. -- posted by Randy Goldberghttp://www.recipezaar.com/311595 Springtime Green Goddess Dip- July 2, 2008 Courtesy of Cuisine at Home. The recipe calls for dried herbs but I have subbed in fresh with equally amazing results. -- posted by mommyoffourhttp://www.recipezaar.com/311575 Man Friendly Lasagna- July 2, 2008 This Lasagna is nearly fat free.
