My mom used to make these for me as a little girl for our "tea parties". I use the Neufchatel Cheese because its a lighter taste and less fat than cream cheese. They are also good topped with a single, chilled cocktail shrimp. I got this recipe from the July 2008 issue of Redbook magazine and have made it 3 times in the last 3 weeks. Fresh basil from the garden and mayo are the most important ingredients in this recipe. The Fresh Herbs combined with tomatoes and red wine give this dish a warm savory taste. I love Navy Beans and any sausage. I saw these "HOFBRAU BRATS" at TRADER JOE'S.
