Faith in ChaosFaith in Chaos - LiveJournal.comBusy day, slothful evening- May 28, 2007 I'm so tired tonight. I had a really busy day - which was actually a good thing as it made the day pass in a flash and gave me a sense of satisfaction that I got so much done. But I was already tired before I got to work. I didn't sleep well at all last night. There was no middle-of-the-night phone call this time; it was other stuff keeping me awake. My mind was racing with all the thinking I'd been doing just before bed; and just as I'd relaxed and thought I might drift off to sleep, long...http://burninggirl.livejournal.com/657945.html Coat weather- May 22, 2007 Yesterday was notable mainly for the fact that, for the first time this year, it was cold enough to wear a coat. It was only my 'autumn coat', not one of my proper winter coats, but still, a coat is a coat. I needed it today as well. I love this time of year. The cold weather invigorates me, makes me feel alive. Yesterday was one of those wonderfully grey, blustery days where you feel like you're in a fight against the elements. Even more excitingly, in the last few days we've been having...http://burninggirl.livejournal.com/656873.html Again- May 13, 2007 Another funfilled evening, another unexpected twist at the end - just another day in my increasingly eventful life. It'll be delivered next Saturday and I'm very much looking forward to my first silent night's sleep. it's coming just at the right time, because no doubt I'll be drunk and exhausted by the time I get to bed that night, and very much in need of a good night's sleep. After I'd accomplished my mission I caught the train out to South Yarra and went to see The Lives of Others at the Como. It was a wonderful film, deserving of all its hype. The.http://burninggirl.livejournal.com/652845.html It's just a great anticipation- May 3, 2007 I'm getting quite excited about next Saturday night. In fact, the whole day, with its various events and situations, has the potential for something interesting to happen. I hope it does. I wouldn't mind some sort of unexpected twist to liven things up. (Maybe I should be careful what I wish for, because I might just get it, but I'll worry about that afterwards.) Plus, of course, I'm looking forward to getting all glammed up! Now if only the email I'm waiting on would arrive soon, life would be.http://burninggirl.livejournal.com/652713.html |
