Recipezaar: Crab recipesThe newest Recipezaar recipesin:CrabSeafood-Stuffed MirlitonChayote- April 7, 2008 A fairly simple and very authentic Creole recipe from New Orleans that I ate at the late, great Ugelsich's restaurant. (They prepared it with eggplant rather than chayote -- they're equally delicious.) Use crab meat or shrimp or a mixture of both. Two chayote halves are a good light entree, or one half is right for a side dish. -- posted by fluffernutterhttp://www.recipezaar.com/296895 Toasty Crab Appetizers- April 4, 2008 This recipe is courtisy of David Buzanko, from a Yahoo site. I haven't tried it yet, just keeping here for safety. -- posted by Evelyn L Jepsonhttp://www.recipezaar.com/296480 Think Pink! Florida Stir Fry- April 3, 2008 A colorful, unexpected combination of ingredients in a tasty, tangy citrus sauce. You can substitute chicken, scallops or shrimp for the crab. -- posted by Jenhttp://www.recipezaar.com/296011 Deviled Crab Stuffed Mushrooms- April 1, 2008 This is the absolute best Stuffed Mushroom recipe I've ever found. I've made this many times, and there are never any left no matter how many I make. My brother in law says they're "To Die For!" I adapted this recipe from the Deviled Crab recipe from The Joy of Cooking cookbook. You can make the stuffing a day ahead to save time and keep refrigerated until ready to stuff the mushrooms, and it comes out perfectly. I hope you enjoy this one. -- posted by Katchickhttp://www.recipezaar.com/295779 Fabulous Stuffed Mushrooms- April 1, 2008 I've made these mushrooms many times, and always they are gobbled up and I'm asked for the recipe.
