Fat Free Wasabi Honey Pita Chips - February 26, 2008

A deliciously sweet and spicy snack that can be eaten as is or served with your favourite dip. The kick of wasabi is nicely balanced with the sweetness of honey in this simple recipe. These are really good served with a bit of fat free sour cream for dipping. I also like them plain too. -- posted by grumblebee

Japanese Wafu Salad Dressing - February 26, 2008

I love this stuff!!! Kind of an east meets west style salad dressing. Very easy to make in a mini food processor. Feel free to substitute with a low fat mayo. This would also be great over chicken or fish. My 2 y.o. loves this! -- posted by Chrissy T.

Low Carb Riceless Maki Sushi Rolls - February 25, 2008

Have all the taste and texture of traditional maki sushi rolls but with way fewer carbs and no rice! This recipe utilizes vegetables in an interesting way in place of the sushi rice. I came up with this recipe as I love sushi but am cutting back on my carbohydrate intake. Sashimi was always an option, but sometimes you want more than just plain fish! Feel free to expiriment with different fillings and combinations. The recipe below will provide 2 of each of the three versions of riceless...

I saw this on Simply Ming and gave it a go and I was very pleased. I thought everyone else would enjoy it as much as I did. I just used Jasmine rice, but you can use the whitebrown rice mixture if you please. -- posted by Toriland

The Best Salmon Marinade - February 13, 2008

Fabulous Family favorite!!! Super easy and lots of flavor! Made many times and never had negative results. If there are any leftovers this salmon makes a wonderful salad topper for lunch or a salmon salad sandwich. When cooking on the cedar plank or adding liquid smoke, it takes the salmon to a whole new level of flavor. Awesome... best of all this is pretty much idiot proof! -- posted by CHILI SPICE
