Recipezaar: Tarts recipesThe newest Recipezaar recipesin:TartsChocolate Dipped Fruit in Orange Sweet Pastry Shells- March 31, 2008 This is a very simple recipe I devised a year ago for a food tech lesson, the design brief was to create food that was "healthy" with reduced fat, salt and sugar content, and increased fibre. I did my best. We only had an hours lesson to do everything, but I'd finished before the bell went so I'm sure it won't take you that long! This recipe is really delicious and a must for any chocolate and fruit fiend. Try experimenting with whatever fruit you have to hand cherries, berries etc...http://www.recipezaar.com/295399 Yummy Austrian Coffee Tart!- March 26, 2008 This is a very nice coffee tart. I don't remember having had anything similar, it is very easy & quick to make. Time to make doesn't include chill time. This recipe comes from 'sofeminine.co.uk'. -- posted by Um Safiahttp://www.recipezaar.com/294699 2bleu's Georgia Peach Cream Cheese Tart- March 26, 2008 This is a wonderful and light springsummer dessert. You can use any fruit you like, even mixed fruit works well. You can also use frozen fruit, although fresh is recommended. If you prefer, you can use a sheet of puff pastry in lieu of the phyllo. Time does not include chill time. -- posted by 2Bleu (Bird&Buddha)http://www.recipezaar.com/294421 Apple Butterscotch Tart- March 20, 2008 This is from either TOH or QC. The taste of the butter crust goes well with the taste of maple but if you want to save time, you can also buy store-bought dough (fresh or frozen, about 1 lb in total) or even better : frozen tartlets crust. If you have leftovers of garnish and dough, you can do more tartlets and fill the empty muffin tins with a little bit of water. -- posted by Boomettehttp://www.recipezaar.com/292567 Pecan Tarts- March 19, 2008 My sister, Sharon brought a batch of these to my home and in about 2 days the four of us had finished them. Yes they are that good! These have a rich shortbread cookie crust. The filling is similar in flavor to a traditional pecan pie but not quite as sweet or sticky in texture. They should be baked in 24 regular sized muffin tins. This recipe is a money saver over some other tart recipes since it uses pecan pieces. The smaller pieces of nuts are more attractive on the small little tarts..http://www.recipezaar.com/292491 Spiced Cake- March 12, 2008 This spiced cake (recipe)is from oma (grandma) Lubje of Albert Heijn (AllerHande)supermarket magazine in the Netherlands.when i saw this recipe,i really decided to bake one.And it turned out very nice and delicious spiced cake. -- posted by Maria Flor Monteroyo Cuyoshttp://www.recipezaar.com/291489 Individual Lime Cheesecakes- March 11, 2008 This recipe is as simple as it is delicious.
