Makes a 9-inch 2 layer cake. A wonderfully light cake in texture with a great chocolate flavor. This is a bit of work with the extra chill times but it is definitely worth it. Remember to store this in the refrigerator. -- posted by HokiesLadyhttp://www.recipezaar.com/308099 Whipped Cream Frosting- June 7, 2008 It is a versatile frosting without the to-sweet flavor. Works well for decorating and piping. Also a good cake filling. On top of all that, it's super simple. Great for ice cream cakes. More stable that plain whipped cream frosting. -- posted by Chef 805939http://www.recipezaar.com/308044 Frangelico Frosting- June 3, 2008 Creamy hazelnut frosting!! These cupcakes were easy to make and I love the cappuccino flavor both in the cake and in the coffee cream, with a hint of cinnamon in the fudge sauce these are sure to make someones day, they did mine. I baked mine at 350 F for about 14-15 min. in regular cupcake tins not custard cups like the recipe calls for, and I got about 18 cupcakes. -- posted by.http://www.recipezaar.com/306793 |
